Today (Monday 12 January) a new survey has been launched to build a richer understanding of the day-to-day experience of people working in knowledge-intensive industries across Greater Cambridge.
Commissioned by the Cambridge Growth Company and developed in collaboration with Cambridge Ahead, the survey is being undertaken by the independent research team at the Centre for Business Research at the University of Cambridge.
Building on existing research, the survey focuses on employees based in science parks, research campuses and major employers, and explores practical, everyday issues such as commuting, access to housing and local amenities, and overall quality of place.
The findings will sit alongside other evidence and engagement, deepening our understanding of the pressures and opportunities shaping Greater Cambridge and helping to inform long-term, infrastructure-led plans that unlock Cambridge’s economic potential and improve quality of life for all.
The survey, which is anonymous and takes about 15 minutes to complete, is open until the end of January. Organisations whose employees participate in the survey will receive a summary of key findings to help inform their own plans.
We encourage you to share your views by completing the survey here.
