Freedom of Information
Most information about our organisation can be found on our website. Our publication scheme is in production and will be shared as soon as it is available. This will describe the range of information we already publish, which may identify readily available material that already responds to or answers your request.

Complaints
If at any point you become unhappy or concerned about the service CGC has provided then you should inform us immediately, so that we can do our best to resolve the problem.
In the first instance it may be helpful to discuss the cause of your concern to see if it can be resolved quickly. If it cannot and you would like to make a formal complaint, then we would ask you to tell us. In both cases, please email us at complaints@thecgc.org.uk making it clear whether this is a. To flag your complaint for discussion or b. A formal complaint.
We are developing and will soon publish our full complaints procedure on this website and elsewhere.
What to do if we cannot resolve your complaint:
The Legal Ombudsman can help you if we are unable to resolve your complaint ourselves. They will look at your complaint independently and it will not affect how we handle your case. Before accepting a complaint for investigation, the Legal Ombudsman will check that you have tried to resolve your complaint with us first. If you have, then you must take your complaint to the Legal Ombudsman within six months of receiving our final response to your complaint and no more than one year from the date of the act or omission being complained about or from the date when you should reasonably have known that there was cause for complaint.
For more information contact the Legal Ombudsman.
